Cluj-Napoca is built on the site of a Roman municipality, located on one of the main European routes, from Vienna to Bucharest. Located in a hilly area, the city spreads around the SomeČ™ River towards the surrounding hills.

The unofficial capital of Transylvania, the 2000-year-old Cluj-Napoca is one of the most vibrant cities in Romania. With a population of around 4000,000 people, out of which around 100,000 are college students, the city is bursting with energy the year round.
